Cross country

The rain stayed away on Tuesday May 17th for the annual Cross Country event hosted by Lauriston School. We all piled in cars or the bus (the less said about the popped wheel the better) and headed on down to the course with butterflies partying hard in many stomachs. We planted ourselves under our flag. Look how many of us there are!

Cross Country Training

We have our Cross Country on May 17th so we have been training on a daily basis. We all come together first to do some stretching and limber up.  Year 5 students must run 2 km and Year 6 have to run 2 km also. We have been talking about cross country strategies such as pacing ourselves and leaving a little bit in the tank for a sprint finish.   As usual it's held at Lauriston School.

Term two...let's get cracking

Hi team and welcome back to Term 2. This is a 9 week term and we have lots going on.

Cross country is happening this term and we will be running daily in order to be super fit for this; it's happening on May 17th at Lauriston school.

Timetable - we have had a fiddle with the timetable for the time being. The biggest change is that Literacy is first up in the morning and Numeracy is now after first lunch. Wordlab is happening from 10.30 - 11.00. Also, the teachers are having a bit of a change with wordlab too. Watch  this space, a change is as good as a holiday and we've just had a holiday!

The purpose of this blog is to document our journey as a team as we head into our new buildings. Here we will share our triumphs and let the wide world know what we are all about. At some point we want you to write your own blog posts, comment about posts and become a blogging expert.
